Raman Base is a non-commercial scientific research project of the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the Czech Academy of Sciences, a public research institution. It contains both spectra contributed directly by researchers and spectra reconstructed from openly accessible scientific literature under the European text-and-data-mining exception for scientific research (Article 3 of Directive (EU) 2019/790, implemented as § 39d of Czech Copyright Act No. 121/2000 Coll.).
